1947

Joseph Guth establishes RGP-- founded on uncompromising patient care.

1962

RGP legacy of innovation continues as one of the first prosthetic centers to use fiberglass.

1972

Thomas Guth Sr. joins the RGP team and under his leadership the center becomes the West’s largest, independent prosthetic facility.

1982

RGP pioneers the use of flexible thermoplastic material to reduce prosthesis weight and maximize comfort.

1985

Thomas Guth Sr. co-developed the CAT-CAM Ischial Containment suction socket in which revolutionized the quality of life for above knee amputees.

1987

RGP among first to use the BioSculptor computer aided design to secure the most accurate fitting between the prosthesis and patient.

1990

RGP sponsors Blade Across America from San Diego to Washington D.C.

2000

RGP staff teams up with Challenged Athlete Foundation (CAF) to support CAF mission.

2008

RGP begins its continued advocacy of HR 805, the injured and amputee Veterans Bill of Rights.

2013

RGP introduces FIT: Functionally Inspired Technology to provide the best-in-class process for marrying prosthesis and patient.
